Website Accessibility Testing: WCAG & Section 508 Compliance Audits

Websites and web applications need to conform to accessibility standards such as WCAG and Section 508. Our audit service identifies issues with your web properties, provides recommendations for remediation and involves a helping hand along the way.

Accessibility Testing

How it Works

First, our team works with you to identify what interfaces need to be tested. This means pages, URLs or templates that either you identify or we recommend. Then, we conduct our testing with the following :

  • Testing Software

We use software packages available to assist in testing.

  • Human Analysis

Our experts review each interface against WCAG 2.2 AA, and against WCAG 2.1 AA where the ADA Title II rule applies.

  • Assistive Technology

We test with the assistive technology your users actually rely on: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, screen magnification, and keyboard-only navigation.

  • Multiple Environments

We can test against multiple web environments to ensure comprehensive conformity.

  • User Testing

We test your property with disabled users who use assistive technology every day.

  • Keyboard Only

We’ll test to make sure keyboard - only users are able to utilize your property .

  • Presentation of Findings

All of our audits include a presentation of findings and a Q&A session with a qualified examiner. Your report would always include the following areas of focus:

    1. Executive Overview
    2. Recommended Remedies
    3. Severity Report
    4. Examples & Test Methods

A checklist shows the four sections every report contains — executive overview, severity report, examples and test methods, and recommended remedies — above a banner noting that every audit includes a question and answer session with a qualified specialist.

  • Pricing

Website and application audits are priced by scope. What moves the number:

    1. Total number of interfaces tested. All audits include, as a minimum, three interfaces.
    2. Testing environments chosen.
    3. Clients can choose between multiple devices, operating systems, browsers and versions.
    4. Depth & detail of the findings report, and whether you need a VPAT or ACR.

Tell us what you have and we’ll quote it. If you would rather start with a fixed price, the ADA Compliance Jumpstart is $1,750 flat.
