Usually Cheaper: Word, Excel, CSV or HTML
The law asks that everyone can reach the same information, not that it arrives as a PDF. An accessible Word or HTML version is often faster to produce, easier to keep current, and better for the people reading it.

Forms and Complex Graphics
Fillable form fields get labels, a logical tab order and grouped inputs. Infographics, flowcharts and org charts get an accessible HTML alternative carrying the same information in a linear, screen-reader-friendly order.

Talk to Us Before You Pay Per Page
Most organizations we speak to are about to spend more than they need to. A Title II agency with thousands of legacy PDFs does not usually need every one of them remediated — it needs the information in those documents to be reachable. Some of it should be remediated. A lot of it is better republished as HTML or an accessible Word file. Some of it is out of date and should simply come down.
That conversation costs you nothing and routinely saves five figures. Ask us before you commit a remediation budget.
Who This Is For
Most of this work is for ADA Title II covered entities — state and local government, public agencies, school districts, colleges and universities — where document accessibility is a legal obligation and the PDF backlog is usually large, old, and growing faster than anyone can remediate it.
We do the same work for businesses. Past projects include accessible versions of technical and reference manuals for private-sector clients, and document remediation delivered to federal science agencies through a prime contractor.
What It Costs
Document remediation is priced per page, in three tiers.
- Tier 1 — Remediation, $10 per page. Tag structure, reading order, language and metadata, and bookmarks.
- Tier 2 — Remediation and Verification, $15 per page. Everything in Tier 1, plus alt text written by our specialists and screen reader QA with a written summary.
- Tier 3 — Remediation and Certification, $18 per page. Everything in Tier 2, plus an Adobe Acrobat accessibility audit, a PDF/UA conformance report and an Accessiblü Certificate of Remediation.
Documents with fillable forms, infographics, flowcharts or other complex elements are quoted individually. That work goes beyond page-level tagging, and a flat per-page rate would not be honest about it. Send us the file and we will price it.
What We Guarantee
We do not guarantee compliance, and we would be wary of anyone who does. Conformance depends on the file you send us, the reader software it is opened in, and what happens to the document after we hand it back.
What we guarantee is the work. Every document we remediate is tested with a screen reader by a person, and where you ask for it we will certify conformance with PDF/UA and WCAG 2.2 AA — documenting the standards tested against, the tools and methods used, and the date of verification.
We Cap How Much We Take On
Every document is remediated and checked by a person, so there is a limit to how many pages we run at a time. If you are sitting on thousands of pages we will say so plainly: either move that content to a format that does not need remediating, or use a bulk provider. We would rather point you somewhere useful than take on work we cannot do well.
